Valencia Basket part ways with Braxton Key

American power forward Braxton Key's time with Valencia Basket has come to an end following the expiration of his contract. The player has decided to accept another offer for the upcoming season and is therefore no longer affiliated with our Club.

Key joined the team midway through the 2025–26 season, arriving at the end of October 2025. He quickly adapted to European basketball and played an important role in helping the team reach its first-ever EuroLeague Final Four, as well as in securing its second Liga Endesa championship.

The Club would like to thank Braxton for his professionalism, hard work and commitment throughout his time representing Valencia Basket, and wishes him every success in both his professional and personal future.

Key joined Valencia Basket's men's first team after being waived by the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. During his time with the Club, he appeared in 68 games, averaging 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks for an average performance index rating of 7.5.
